"Loigman nails the way family members, especially parents and children, inadvertently pierce one another with careless comments or subtle looks. As the story unfolds, we are reminded
of how a split-second decision can reverberate for decades, even for generations …
The real strength of Loigman’s debut effort is her characters, to whom you find your loyalty shifting as the story unfolds."

NOTE FOR SISTERHOOD
Dear Agudath Israel Etz Ahayem Synagogue Sisterhood,
My name is Maddie and I am a student intern at Bama Hillel. I wanted to thank you for your generous donation and support of Hillel.

This has been a tough year, but I am grateful for the home away from home I have found at Hillel.

We have been creative in ways to celebrate being Jewish with each other, and even had a great time with drive-thru Shabbat dinners, a socially distanced Purim Party, and prep for Passover.
Thank you for making this all possible.

Happy Passover and Roll Tide!!

Maddie
